Friends in your life are so very important...

My dearest and bestest friends...  You offer so much to who I am. You complete me as a person.  In my life, I have been blessed with the greatest of friends.  We surround ourselves with people who will lift us up. We associate with like minded people. We learn from each other.  We support each other in all our endeavors. We grow together.  We share. 

Sometimes, our sharing isn't always good.  Sometimes we have to make difficult decisions. Sometimes the advice we offer isn't exactly what they wanted to hear, but what they needed to hear.  We love them softly through hard times.  We are a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear, a secret keeper.

They help your dreams come true.  They praise you when you've accomplished a goal.  They stand right next to you when the rest of the world hides in the shadows.  When you grow, they grow.  They are excited to see you succeed.

I had a friend once say "you know your true friends, when they show up to help you move..."  Yes, true friends will be there to lift your heavy furniture.  They will cry when you move away.  They will support your goals, your hopes, your dreams.  

They will last forever.  True friends.  They will hold a soft spot in your heart til you take your last breath.  They will be the ones holding you hands as you grow old and feeble.
